Unwind takes place in the United States in the near future. After the second civil war that was fought over abortion. A compromise was reached, allowing parents to sign an order for their children between the ages 13 -18 years old to be unwound         taken to "harvest camps" and having their body parts harvested for later use. 99.44 of the body is required to be used, unwinds did not technically "die", because their individual body parts lived on. There are 3 youths who are trying to escape this horrible ordeal. If they live to 18 then they will be able to live a regular life.

    Sound like an interesting book, but it also sounds cruel.

    I WANT TO READ THIS BOOK!!!Its very interesting and it seems like it is a book which i would enjoy... But i agree with Marko this book is cruel a bit. When you finish reading it pleas borrow me the book.:)

    It sounds really cool. I like how the author decided to write about future things which may become problems from the events which are occurring now.
