1) Discuss 2 things about your person's upbringing and how this may have affecting his/her life path.
The first vital thing about Muhammad Alis upbringing that affected him is the state of the country at the time he was growing. The fact is that Muhammad Ali was growing up at a time overflowing with racism, and being a black child in the USA greatly shaped him because he grew up being the underdog and that made him learn that life is not fair and you have to fight for the things that you want in life. I think that this shaped him greatly and he would not have so much passion for fighting if he grew up in a more positive environment.
The second thing about his upbringing would be that his parents made him spiritual from a young age. His parents were very religious and he followed them, he was baptist as a child, because his mother was so, but after some years he decided to convert to the nation of Islam after following their meetings for some years. I think that spirituality greatly influenced him because he often talks about it and plays a big factor in his life, so it probably made a big influence on his choices too.
2) Discuss a 2nd unique piece of information about your chosen human being.
An interesting story that I read during this story is the one of his return after winning the gold medal at the olympic games. He returned to Louisville and received the welcome of a king, he enjoyed it and he believed that he had earned the respect of this city, the major even told him the medal represented his key to the city, all his ideas came crashing when he went to a restaurant with his friend, but they refused to serve him, he told the manager who he was, and they still refused, it infuriated him, and although at the time he did not take his medal off, and slept with it for months, he chucked it into the river because he realized how little it actually ment.
