Summary: When Isabel goes off to "Buy" everything that is on her list she stops by a Loyalist Captain and helps him find a location. He finds her helpful and wants to take her in and get her to work for him but when he ask's her if her owners are rebels. She is about to leave when Mr. Lockton comes out and spots her. He is surprised at first but then when she tells him she is doing the shopping he lets her go. She goes back home and Mr. Lockton returns home to his wife as well. Later on Aunt Seymour sends a message saying she is in great need if Isabel's help and that she is hosting alot of Germans who are here to help the British. Isabel is immediately sent to her. She cooks for them and cleans up for Aunt. One day she wakes up to the smell of smoke, she looks out the window to see the neighbors houses on fire and so is Aunt's. She saves herself, Aunt and some of Aunt's valuables. Aunt is ever so grateful and makes her a winter coat. The British win many battles and their prisoners are paraded down the street to the prison. Curzon is one of them. Loyalist all over America celebrate.

What do you think about what you have read?
I think this story is really getting better now that I am near the end. I am anxious to find out what happens to Ruth.

Has your recent reading fulfilled your expectations?
No, because there is a fire and the British reject her.

What do you expect for your continued reading?
I think Isabel will free Curzon and they will escape to look for Ruth together.

How satisfied are you with what you have read?
Yes I am satisfied although I was a little disappointed when she was rejected to work with the Brits. But I was glad when Aunt Seymour takes her in.

Passage Section:
"The British army paraded up Broadway the next day. Cheered by Loyalist all wearing a red ribbon or a flower in their hats in support of the King." (Anderson185) I was a little disappointed when I read this because i wanted the Americans to win because if they won the Locktons would not be happy and I would be because they were the Antagonist's. "I cannot accept you service child. We only employ slaves run away from rebel owners." (Anderson181) Here I was a little disappionted as well because they could have helped her but they didn't so there is another solution crossed out. "You will leave immediately." Mr. Lockton says that to Isabel when Aunt Seymour needed help. Madame Lockton wanted her to finish the house-work but Mr. Lockton took Isabel's side and let her go.
