Ban  was born in small village in South Korea. And when he was young, he moved to nearby town. When he was six, because of the Korean War, him and his family fled to remote mountainside. He mentioned meeting American soldiers at that time. When he was in high school, he studied English really hard to become a diplomat. And he won an contest by red cross and got his opportunity to go to United States and to meet president John F. Kennedy. After his college graduation, he received a top score at South Korea's foreign service exam, and became a diplomat. After his career as a diplomat, he worked in UN division in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Seoul, South Korea's capital. And at February of 2006, he became a Secretary General of UN after Kofi Annan. Now, he is on his second term, and has a successful career.

1. What does it mean to be a 'self-actualized' human being?
being a 'self-actualized' means being able to achieve a goal that is for the greater good. For example, Gandhi wanted his country to be independent, and with his hard work, his country gained independence. I believe being self actualized is that. 
2. What is one unique thing you have discovered about your figure?
One unique thing that I discovered about my figure is that he won a essay contest that was held by the Red Cross and got his opportunity to visit USA and meet President Kennedy. At his trip, he was questioned by a journalist about his dream, and he said he wanted to be a diplomat. He received a bachelor's degree from Seoul National University, the best university in South Korea. In addition, he also earned a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
3. Describe your figure's schooling & education
When he was in high school, he studied English very hard, and when there was a contest of writing an essay by red cross, he won and got to go to USA. He received a bachelor's degree from Seoul National University, the best university in South Korea. In addition, he also earned a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
