Ban Ki-moon was born in June 13, 1944, at Japanese occupied Korea. Which is now South Korea. He was a hardworking student, and when he was in high school, he won a competition among south Korean students, and earned a opportunity to go to United States and meet president John F. Kennedy. And Secretary General says that led him to his career. He received bachelor's degree at Seoul National University which is the best university in South Korea. And also, he earned a masters degree from John F. Kennedy school of Government at Harvard University. And after that, he entered Ministry of Foreign Affairs in South Korea and started his career as a diplomat. His UN experience began in 1975 when he became a staff member of UN division of the Foreign Ministry in Seoul. On October 13 2006, he was elected as a Secretary General of UN which is a president of UN. After he became Secretary General, he worked hard for world peace. And now he is a inspiration to young men and women throughout the world.
1. What is the ‘great human path’? Is there one that I can clearly describe?
In my opinion, a great human path is a one who works for the greater good. So great
human does not work for his own good. He or she will work for the greater good, like for
example, Rosa Parks worked for African American people's rights in United States.
2. Describe your figure’s early life, family, homeland, and upbringing.
Ban Ki-moon was born in June 13, 1944 at Japanese occupied Korea which is now South
Korea. He and his family lived nearby the town of Chungju. His father had a warehouse
business. When he was six years old, because of Korean War, he and his family fled to a
remote mountainside. When he was in high school, he studied English to become a
and eventually, he went to US, and met president Kennedy and earned masters degree
at John F. Kennedy school of government at Harvard University.
3. In your opinion, how did these facts (above) reflect/influence your figure?
When he was in high school, when he met the president of United States, he dreamed of
being a diplomat, and eventually, he got to become a diplomat at Ministry of Foreign Affairs
in South Korea. and when he was a diplomat, after his diplomat career, he worked for UN
division in ministry, and got elected Secretary General of UN.

It nice that he got to meet the president and from then on he wanted to become a diplomat. I also liked the image you put.
