1: Being a very symbolic and complex
book, The Animal Farm gives the readers a lot of ideas and material
for discussion. It was really rewarding discussing the books deeper
meaning and comparing it to other books that depict a attempted
utopian society, such as the book Lord of The flies.
2: I am satisfied and happy with the
choice of the novel, because it deals with a important issues and
ideas about society, that are present ever since its beginning, even
today. At first it was hard to chose a novel, because both of us have
read many classic novels and have discussed them. The Animal Farm was
one of the few classic novels that we didn't read.
3: A book that would definitely be
worth reading together in the future is H. Rider Haggards Kings
Salmons Mines. Even though it is very different from The Animal Farm,
it is a great classic novel,which has great description and a even
greater plot. This is a novel which, I believe, we would truly enjoy.
