Silent marries Hephet the daughter of his former boss. He hears the call and then both of them head for the Palace of Truth, both of them then meet the judges and the jury, and they get accepted into the palace of truth as craftsmen, Silent gets his name changed to Nefer the silent. On the other and Ardent, changes jobs and acquires all the items he needs to get accepted. He then goes to the Place of truth, were some of the judges decide to let him in, while others dissagree. He is then set to work infront of the palace of truth as a trial job. Mehy an officer decides he wants to become pharoph and will do everything in his power to achieve his goal, he then wants to demolish the Palace of truth.
I recommend this book to everybody who likes books that don't aren't ordinary, they dig deep into the souls of characters, and while your reading the book you feel like one of the characters. The characters have extraordinary goals and they want to become scribes and sculpteres of the Palace of truth which is a forbidden village for craftsmen only, they have a lot of challenges in there path which makes the book intresting and different.
