'The Diary' is a book about a woman that 29 years old.He name is Ann.She drinks,smokes and eats too much.Every year on thanks giving her mother sets her up with a date.The date each time turns out horrible.On the beginning of each ear she starts a new diary.She tries to quit smoking,drinking and tries to go on a died,but it never work out.One year was special.Her mother set her up on a date with a really handsome man.Which was their nabber.She was drunk so she couldn't function that good.He doesn't like her but she likes him.She meats a new man that ends up being her new boyfriend.The man she met on thanks giving liked her and she liked him but he was engaged and she had a boyfriend.Trough out the story are a lot of intense parts,twisting parts and also some really funny parts.
This summer i saw the film with my friend.I was so amazed that i tried to find the book.In the book the characters have different names,they also have a little bit different personality.'The Diary' is better to read than to see the film.The writer uses an interesting choose of ward and has a vivid imagination.It sets the tone for the book.When I finished reading the book i was stunned with the twists that happen in the book.
I recommend reading it!If you don't want to get stressed out;and don't want a romantic story where you can already tell whats going to happen or something that is fiction read 'The Diary'.Its easy going,it is a love story but it also talks about some of the problems that people have like being an alcoholic or smoker.In the book you can also see how did she stop smoking and drinking.
The book is really amazing!
I loved reading it and i can tell that i will read it next year,just to see if i will see it differently!

I think i'm reading the same book or similar, because the story is exactly the same except that the girl is called Bridget and it is only 267 pages:P But nice description
